Elrick Admiral was purchased in Perth in October 2006 for 12,000 gns, the top price at the sale. He is a very well bred bull, with his sire being Carlisle show and sale champion in May 2003 and purchased for 8000gns. His dam, Elrick Olympia — a Blelack Legend daughter which goes back to the 11,000gns Crownhead Elegant — has already produced bulls at 8000gns and 4000gns.

He has a fantastic temperament and his first calves are due in August 2007.
